About Shred Day

We host a document shredding and destruction event each year. There is no cost to recycle items; however, we accept freewill donations to benefit the Tuscarawas County Literacy Coalition and its community programs.

Items accepted for shredding include legal documents, old tax records, medical records, and financial statements.

E-waste, such as computers (not including monitors), keyboards, computer mice, desktop printers, routers, file server computers, laptops, modems, fax machines, and hard drives, is sometimes accepted. There is an option to have hard drives destroyed before being recycled. Contact us or view our Facebook page for details regarding e-waste.
