About Shred Day

We host a document-shredding and destruction event each year. There is no cost to recycle items; however, we accept freewill donations to benefit the Tuscarawas County Literacy Coalition.

Shred Day FAQs

Items accepted for shredding include legal documents, old tax records, medical records, and financial statements.

E-waste, such as computers, keyboards, computer mice, desktop printers, flat-screen monitors, routers, file server computers, laptops, modems, fax machines, and hard drives, is sometimes accepted. There is an option to have hard drives destroyed before being recycled. Contact us or view our Facebook page for details regarding e-waste.

There is no cost to recycle items; however, we accept freewill donations to benefit the Tuscarawas County Literacy Coalition.

 NOTE: A fee is charged to recycle old-style monitors (CRTs) and floor model printers.

A four-box maximum per vehicle is observed.
