Literacy Coalition Raises Over $1,000 from Community Shred Day Event

The Tuscarawas County Literacy Coalition (TCLC) is thrilled to announce the success of its recent Community Shred Day event, which raised over $1,000 to support the 2024 One Book One Community program.

The Community Shred Day event, held on Saturday, August 8, provided a secure and convenient way for the community to dispose of their confidential documents while supporting a worthy cause. TCLC partnered with U-Shredd-It, a reputable local shredding company, to ensure that all materials were securely destroyed and recycled. Participants were encouraged to make a monetary donation in exchange for shredding services, with all proceeds going directly to TCLC’s One Book One Community program.
