Literacy Coalition Set to Host Annual Community Shred Event

The Tuscarawas County Literacy Coalition will be hosting a document-shredding and destruction event from 10:00am to 12:00pm (noon) on Saturday, August 3, in the lower parking lot of First Federal Community Bank on the Boulevard in Dover.

There is no cost to recycle items; however, free-will donations to benefit the Tuscarawas County Literacy Coalition’s 2024 One Book One Community program will be accepted.

Items accepted for shredding include legal documents, old tax records, medical records, and financial statements with a maximum of four boxes of documents per vehicle. E-waste is not accepted this year.

Shredding items are not accepted before the 10:00am start time to allow for the setup of the event. Those who submit materials for shredding must sign a waiver form.
